nothing to say but yea!

went to see yeasayer at bottom of the hill in sf tonight, and, lord oh lord, they were fantastic. i couldn't stop moving the whole time: the drumbeats and synthbends were like heartbeats and i couldn't get out of my head the image of the music blooming and becoming blood, flowing through my veins. they were so complete, the four of them, like one organism with four appendages, seeing as i'm cheesy enough to say that. best band to be found in quite some time--the pure musicianship alone qualifies them for a top tier of brilliance that i didn't even know existed in the rock world. their personalities, what came through in performance anyway, lent for some pretty excellent entertainment as well-- hating l.a., throwing shit around, laughing at each other, threatening to play fall out boy.. yes, it was a near perfect performance.

listen, love, if you haven't already: http://hypem.com/search/yeasayer/1/
